Lessons with Sophie at Bridlewood offer riding tuition and hacking for everyone – from complete beginners to Common Riding stalwarts to competition riders.

The two restrictions we must highlight for the welfare of our horses and insurance purposes are:

• The maximum weight limit for any rider is 15 stone. 

• Children must be 4 years old and over for riding lessons and long bridle paths.

• Children aged 3 years and over can participate in a short bridle path.

The Centre has a selection of hats and body protectors available for use during lessons. Please arrive at least ten minutes ahead of your lesson to be fitted with these items.

From 10 am to 4.30 pm on Wednesday 

10 am to 4.3 pm Saturday.

To enquire about the riding lessons, please phone Sophie on 07487 516 779. If no one answers, please leave a message, including your phone number, and we will get back to you as soon as possible. Emails relating to the riding lessons will not be replied to.

Please call if you need to cancel or rearrange your lesson. You will need to give us at least 24 hours' notice; otherwise, a full payment will be required.

Before riding with us, you will need to complete a Rider registration form.  CLICK HERE to download the form so you can fill it out and bring it with you to save time on the day.
